Luis Pacheco,
Youth Leadership Pathway Manager
Luis Pacheco (he/him/his), Youth Leadership Pathway Manager, joined YES in September of 2020. Luis was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area in 2010 to attend the University of California, Berkeley. After earning a B.A. in Chicano Studies, he was drawn to youth development and pursued work in the non-profit sector. Since then, he has been rooted in Richmond and holds community values close to heart, volunteering and working for several youth organizations in Richmond including Playworks and WCCUSD. Luis is passionate about having an active lifestyle and aspires to make that accessible to everyone.
